So What Is Hypnotherapy Anyway?

A common misconception is that hypnotherapy is just a fancy word for hypnosis.   While hypnotherapy uses hypnosis techniques, there is an element of advanced therapy involved as well, leading to long term results.  The word hypnosis means to induce a temporary, passive state of mind. Being in such a state allows the conscience, and subconscious to communicate at a higher level.  The changes achieved when using hypnosis alone can be beneficial, but often times temporary. Hypnotherapy is the psychological healing process that uses hypnosis to achieve a desired, long-term, result.

Hypnotherapy has generally been used to overcome personal issues such as smoking, weight loss or anxiety.  Today more and more successful entrepreneurs and even celebrities are using hypnotherapy to become the greatest version of themselves.  Hypnotherapy is used to help individuals whose focus is to maximize their effectiveness in business.
